Electronic Activation

Manual Activation

TitleFactory activation occurs after the product is purchased. Until the product is activated it will run in a demo mode. In demo mode the products will be limited to 5 images created for the TitleFactory.

TitleFactory is registered on a one-user per machine basis.

After successfully paying for TitleFactory, you will be directed to an Order Confirmation page. At this point you can Activate the product immediately.

Electronic Activation

Make sure that you are connected to the internet.
Start a TitleFactory product.
If you require a proxy server (not needed in most cases) then go to Help>Proxy Set-up and fill in your proxy requirements.
Go to Help>Electronic Activate ...
Enter your email address used to pay for the product.
Press OK.
An 'Activation Complete' message will be displayed.
Quit and Restart Product.

If you cannot connect to the internet on the machine that you want to run TitleFactory then perform the following steps.

Manually Activation

This method should only be used when you cannot activate the product electronically. Delays may be experiences when requesting a manual code.

Start a TitleFactory product.
Go to Help>Registration Info...
Record the Hardware ID Code. Make sure that the complete HW-ID code is recorded.
Send an email message (on a machine that is connected to the internet) to tfsales@titlefactory.com with the Hardware ID Code and the email address that was used to pay for TitleFactory.
You will receive an email message (within several days) with an Activation Code that is required to activate the product on your machine.
Go to Help>Electronic Activate ...
Move the keyfile into the program directory where TitleFactory resides.
Quit and Restart Product.

Deactivation

To deactivate the product on a particular machine use the Deactivate menu item on the Help menu. You must be connected to the internet to do this. Upon successful deactivation you will be able to activate the product on a different machine.
