TitleFactory

TitleFactory is a specialized product which will create subtitle images based on text files.  The non-demo version of the software can generate any number of files automatically.  This greatly alleviates the tedious and time consuming task of generating these files manually.

Input file types

The (1) input text files can be scripts, transcripts, screenplays, or anything else that can be represented by plain text.  The product skips certain text based on input settings, and intelligently parses the remaining text.  For example, the product will automatically create new images when new paragraphs have been identified, and will fit as many complete sentences on an image as possible.  The program will correctly begin a new image when a non-first sentence cannot be fit into the existing image.

The product also supports the input  of (2) timecoded subtitle files (files that have timecodes and associated subtitle text already formatted.  Additionally the product supports the entry of (3) exact preformatted subtitles (without timecodes).

The software has the ability to skip certain input text normally found in script files according to user definable settings and view the skipped text (and the reason for it being skipped) via a 'test input' function.  TitleFactory even includes a text editor.

Image Outputs

TitleFactory creates (5) Subtitled Images. The software can correctly position text on images according to several user tunable options.  The user is in full control over the look of the images.

The program has the ability to create several popular image formats including bmp, tif, jpeg, pic, etc.

After creation, these files can be imported into any video editing software such as Adobe Premiere as well as into several professional DVD Authoring packages including Pinnacle Impression, Sonic Solution's ReelDVD^® or Scenarist^®.

• text position

• antialias

• lines per image

• characters per line

TitleFactory includes a Prototype function that allows a sample subtitle image (based on the output image settings) to be viewed in real time.  It can also display the image over a sample image background.

TitleFactory can also create timecoded text files whether or not the input is timecoded.
