TitleFactory Settings and Preferences
Text File - Output Display Option
TitleFactory Preferences are accessed via the Edit menu > Preferences. The preferences allow for start up and theme settings.
The start-up preference dialog defines what project, if any, should be opened when the program starts.

The Media Tab specifies which Media Player Control should be used to display Video Files and to play audio files. Video can be played with the Microsoft Media Player, or the Apple Quicktime Player. If the audio is embedded within the Video file then the player chosen will also play the audio track. The Microsoft Media Player, or the Apple Quicktime Player may play different files depending on the codecs that are installed in your system.
If the audio is a separate file, then it may be able to be played with MCI (Media Control Interface). MCI can play WAV files but may require additional audio codecs in your system to play other types of audio only files such as mpeg audio (such as .mpa, .mp2, or mmp3) or .ac3 files.
If you believe that your system supports additional files types, then you may want to update the Media Files dialog.
The Video Window size specifies the size of the Video Window. Windows Media Player video can be resized manually, the Quicktime Player Window does not produced good results when resized manually.
The Default Window Size is the size of the Factory image style that is specified in the Styles Definitions Window.

The Buttons tab specifies which button will be used to control the recording of timecodes. Either click on the button number or position the mouse in the '...click here ...' and press your button choice.

The Coalesce Preference specifies whether the starting time should be made equal to the previous timecodes ending timecode for those image text files that are in the same paragraph. Normally, a paragraph in the original script file, represents continuous dialog and the timecodes should equal. The slider bar determines which timecode should change. Normally it is best to set this to 0, since it is usually easy to release the mouse button when the dialog ends and hard to predict when the start of the dialog should begin. The coalesce adjustment can be turned off of unchecking the 'Coalesce Option' check box.

The File tab contains the number of files that will be used to populate the 'Recently Used Files' dialog for each of the file types.

The Display Tab allow various settings of the main window display.

If checked, then TitleFactory will attempt to use the font as specified in the associated style. Note that this may not always work, since the fonts supported for the Text Drawing routines are not always the same as the Fonts on the user interface. This option should only be check if there is more than one style specified in the Image Text Box or a single font does not contain. all required Unicode code sets. This parameter does not change the image text's size, weight (e.g. bold), slant (e.g. italic) which is specified using the Font (Image) button described above. See the image below for an example.

Image Box Justify is a toggle that changes the justification in the Image Text Box in the the Main Window from left to center to right to ...
