The Process Settings dialog allows one to specify the processing options that occur when parsing, analyzing and generating images.
'Output Image Name' specifies the name of the image files that will be generated in the CREATE IMAGE process. The '#' in the name is a sequential number that will be placed in the image name. The file extension need not be specified as it will be generated based on the file type. If ##, ###, ####, or ##### are used as the image number then leading zeros will be used to fill the sequential number. For example, image_### will result in image files with the names image_001, image_002, image_003, etc.
The 'Characters per Line' indicates the maximum number of characters to allow on a line in the Text Parsing routine, that is, when the input file is not timecoded..
The 'Lines per Image' indicates the maximum number of lines to allow on a single image in the Text Parsing routine, that is, when the input file is not timecoded.
'Parsing Type' should be set to 'word_rule' for phonetic based scripts and 'character_rule' for character based scripts such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

'...Continuation Mark' and 'Continuation Mark...' specify characters that will be placed on the text lines when sentences are continued from one image to another. This values are optional.
'Max Images' specifies the maximum number of images that should be created. The program will continue and process all images but will only write the maximum specified. If there is no value then no limit will be used and all images will be written. (This pertains to non-demo mode). This parameter can be used to test out various styles without having to create all images.
'Case Conversion' will perform upper or lower case conversion on the script if specified.
'Balance' specifies whether the process should balance lines of text, per image. The process will also balance lines of text when sentences carry over to a new image. This will help to avoid the situation where a sentence goes to two images but the second image only contains a word or two. 'Balance' is most often used in subtitling and captioning, however, the downside is that lines of text across images may be different (some shorter and some longer).
The 'Balance' indicator is also used when the input file is a timecoded subtitle text file. If the input is a timecoded subtitle text file and 'Balance' is off then the text will be placed on images exactly as they are entered. If 'Balance'is on, then TitleFactory will try to fit the text in a balanced mode on the image.
The 'Default Style' parameter specifies the default style to use when LOAD TEXT is used to populate the Image Text Box on the main window. The default style will be used later in the CREATE IMAGES process.
'Report Type' specifies two different report styles. Refer to report type 1 and report type 2 for more information.
'Frames per Second' is used to when writing out certain timecoded text files or when converting from one frame rate to another using the Convert Timecode 'CV' button on the main window.
