TitleFactory creates index as well as non-indexed files, that is graphics files with 256 color palettes (with the exception of jpeg images with does not support palettes). Each ‘bmp’ type image created with TitleFactory will consume about 340 KB of disk space. Other types of images will consume various amounts of space that can be easily determined by examining “file details.” Before creating the images ensure that enough disk space is available. The table below provides an estimate of the space required for different file types.
| Image Type | Space per image | Indexed* | Transparent | Compressed |
| BMP (Windows) | 340 KB | YES or NO | NO | NO |
| JPG (lossless) | 23 KB | NO | NO | YES** |
| TIF | 340 KB | YES or NO | YES or NO | YES |
| GIF | 3 KB | YES | YES or NO | YES |
| EPS | 2059 KB | NO | NO | NO |
| PNG | 2 KB | YES or NO | YES or NO | YES |
| Photoshop PSD | 1013 | NO | NO | NO |

** JPEG supports many levels of compression. This product only uses a lossless compressions to avoid artifacts in the image.
Please make sure that the that the video editing or DVD authoring program (that the files are intended for) supports the specific files created. (Then again, they can always be recreated at the press of a button if you need to change the format).
Most video editing programs support most of these formats.
