Your purchase allows you to use the TitleFactory product on a single computer and requires you to activate the product prior to using it.  After paying for the product you will be able to activate it, electronically.  We recommend that you DO NOT ACTIVATE THE PRODUCT ON A COMPUTER THAT YOU DO NOT PLAN TO USE IT ON.  The latest releases of TitleFactory (3.0 BLDP and later) have a feature that allows you to perform a 'Deactivation' and this will allow you to activate it on another computer.  However, the 'Deactivation' must be done, of course, on the computer on which you activated the product.  You will responsible for deactivating the TitleFactory product from your computer if you know that you are going to replace, discard, or sell the computer.  We are not responsible if you cannot deactivate the product because you do not possess the computer or your computer has been disabled.  We can no longer deactivate the product for you so please do not ask us to do so.

Known Issues with TitleFactory

TitleFactory

  • To use TitleFactory generated images with Impression DVD Pro, the index parameter must be checked and the  inner stroke parameter must be turned on. (This has a better look anyway).  These are set on the Output Settings Window

  • TitleFactory only runs on a Windows NT based platform including Windows NT, 2000, XP, and Vista.

  • The Prototype function does not always work on the first button press.  Repeated button presses are sometimes required.

  • The User Interface does not support non-ascii character sets, however, input files can be Unicode encoded with UTF-8 in order to create images in almost any language.

  • TitleFactory  uses Windows Multimedia Control to play wav files.  There are some systems that are not equipped to play wav files with MCI.  This is a rare situation.  If you try playing a .wav file but receive no sound then check that your Device Manager has an entry called Media Control Devices under the Sound, Video, and Game Controllers section.  Right click on Media Control Devices and check the properties tab.  Mciwave.dll should be listed and state that the 'driver is enabled and working properly'.  If you do not have this then your computer has not been installed with Multimedia Control Devices or they may have been installed incorrectly.
