TitleFactory 4.10 Features Include the following:

Main Window Functions

  • New waveform display and options to display the waveform to the project settings.

  • Added the ability to specify a video file (with sound) to display in the video window and use a separate voice only audio file for building the waveform.  A audio file created just from audio tracks will make the waveform more useful.   On play or timecode record operations, the audio is still played from the video file if it is specified.  If there is no video file then the audio will be played from the audio file.

  • Changed the timeline to automatically zoom to a level as specified in the project settings, that is, zoom to 10, 20,or 30 pixels per second.

  • Added a drop line to the timeline pointer and changed the look of the pointer.

  • Added facility to use video conversion tools.

  • Added all text and timecode functions to the main menu under Tools.

  • Changed default main window display eliminating the text and timecode buttons.

  • Replaced the text and timecode scrollbars with a single scroll bar.

  • Added the ability to remove the headers from the subtitle and Timecode Sub Windows.

  • Changed the Project Settings to a tabbed display due to the increase in the number of options supported.

  • Documentation for Version 4.0 has been updated.

  • Fixed Adobe Type 3 subtitle format input.

  • Removed Manual Activation since this has not been used for more than 2 years.

  • Removed some media options from preferences since they are no longer needed.  e.g., Video Display size is no longer required since the user can now change the size by growing the window manually.
