TitleFactory 3.0Q and 3.0P Features Include the following:
Main Window Functions
-
New Automatic Timecode Generation which is useful for situations where exact
synchronization of text and voice is not required. Given starting and
ending timecode values TitleFactory 4.0 can estimate any number of
intermediate timecodes, setting the starting and ending values based on the
length of the corresponding text entries.
-
New Search/Replace Text Function for text in the image text list on the main
window. If your director or editor want text changes and you have
already timecoded your text, the new Search Function can find (and possibly
replace) your text entries quickly.
-
New Merge Text Function on the main window provides the ability to merge
timecodes and associated text in one function.
-
New Coalesce Function to adjust timecodes. The timecodes' Starting
Timecode can be automatically set to the previous timecode's Ending Timecode
(or vice versa - or anything in-between).
-
New Split Timecode and Split Text Functions. This allows you to split
text and timecode entries into two and automatically generate the missing
timecode vallues (using the new Automatic Timecode Generation Function).
-
New functions that operate on both text and timecode lists at the same time.
These include:
Deselect
Delete Text and Timecode Entries
Shift Text and Timecode Entries Down
Merge Text and Timecode Entries
Split Text and Timecode Entries
Undo/Redo previous Text and Timecode Changes
Input Window Functions
Image Creation
-
New horizontal character spacing in image creation. Spacing between
characters can be increased or decreased (bit by bit).
-
New variable stroke widths. The strokes (inner and outer) are longer
limited to 1 pixel wide.
-
Improved performance of stroking. Much better performance than
previous version.
-
Support up to 10 lines per text entry. Yes, that is 10 lines per
image, or 10 lines per subtitle. This may be useful for introductions
or endings.
-
New 'estimated time remaining' display when creating images.
Other Functions
-
New Deactivation Function in Help menu. The product can be moved to,
and activated on, another machine. Of course, it must first be
deactivated on the current machine.
-
New CMD3600 EDL (edit decision list subtitle text format). Subtitles
written in this format can be imported into a variety of Non Linear Editing
Programs such as Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, and others.
